JOB OPPORTUNITIES: TEACHERS FOR UPPER PRIMARY, LOWER PRIMARY, AND PRE-PRIMARY.
The Frontier Pioneer School, a dynamic and rapidly growing institution in Kericho County, is expanding its team. With Creche’, Playgroup, PP1, PP2, and Grade 1 to Grade 4 classes, we are excited to introduce Grade 5 in January 2025 and currently are seeking enthusiastic and motivated teachers to join our dedicated teaching team for the following positions:
– Upper Primary Teacher (1 Position) Subjects: English, Mathematics, Science & Technology. (You may specialize in any one, two, or all of the listed subjects).
– Lower Primary Teacher (Grade 1 & 2 – 2 Positions)
– Pre-Primary Assistant Teachers (4 Positions)
About the Job & Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the School Director and Founding Head Teacher in the implementation of the CBC curriculum, including the development of schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching methods.
– Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that encourages children to explore, develop, and thrive.
– Regularly observe and assess students, tracking their progress and providing both daily and termly evaluations.
– Ensure all students are treated with equality and respect, regardless of gender, background, or abilities.
– Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their children’s development and any challenges they may face.
Ideal Candidates Profile:
– Upper Primary Teacher: P1 Teacher – A Degree and CBC Upgrade will be an added advantage.
– Lower Primary & Pre-Primary Assistant Teachers: ECD Teacher with good experience.
– Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, registered with TSC, and familiar with the CBC curriculum.
– A strong commitment to continuous professional development, Exceptional communication skills in both English and Kiswahili (spoken and written), and proficient in computer literacy. A flexible, adaptable, and proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. Passionate about contributing to a vibrant school culture and eager to challenge yourself in a fast-paced educational environment.
